ALEX NOLAN has become a buzzing name amongst legendary artists and musicians as a versatile, trusted, and highly skilled guitarist and collaborator. Her over 20 years of recording and performance experience includes stints on national television as part of NBC's The Meredith Vieira Show band (2014 – 2016), on stage as the lead guitar player for pop icon Cyndi Lauper (2016 – present), on Broadway as guitar chair for Jagged Little Pill (2020 – 2021) for which she performed on the Grammy-winning cast album in 2021, and currently as the guitar chair for MJ The Musical (2021 – present).

Notable performances include the historic 2017 Women's March on Washington D.C. backing up major artists such as Alicia Keys, Janelle Monáe, Maxwell, and the Indigo Girls; Cyndi Lauper's annual Home for the Holidays shows at the Beacon Theatre, which included performing with Jackson Browne, Billy Corgan, and Ani DiFranco; and various appearances over the years with a range of rock, R&B, singer/songwriter and jazz musicians including BETTY, Toshi Reagon, Jill Sobule, Jason Michael Webb, Sophia Ramos, Nona Hendryx, Catey Shaw, Morley, Julia Sweeney, Joan as Policewoman, Jessica Carter Altman, Shoshana Bean, among others.

Notable recordings include Tom Kitt’s Reflect (2021), MJ the Musical Original Broadway Cast Recording (2022), and the upcoming soundtrack album for Hulu’s Up Here written by Academy Award winners Kirsten Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez.
